Unfortunately many of us get overweight. This can be through any number of causes and occur at any age. One option is to embrace our fat and live with the weight. However this has health and quality of life consequences and can be downright dangerous.
While we have knowledge distilled over a thousand years of advanced civilisation this advanced civilisation has also been responsible for many of us eating too much and too much of the wrong stuff.
Science in particular is a tricky beast. There are many valuable findings available from research. Unfortunately some findings are contradictory or later found to be plain wrong. For example, eggs have been black listed and then rehabilitated by scientists.
The key to long term weight loss is to enjoy the journey and the destination.
